Burning the midnight oil

Encountered on Northbound I-95 just before the Ives Dairy Road exit at 2 a.m. this morning. My second sighting of a car giving up the ghost in surreal fashion in ten days (see “Crash Cab”).

    Ives Dairy, We da best mayne, we deed it. If it’s not amputees shooting people from their scooters, or crazy looking hispanic men pointing guns for cutting them off, it’s this. I love my hood.

    Amputees shooting people from scooters? I’ve seen that at most seven times, but I’d hardly call it a defining characteristic.
