Podcast #7: #RHOM, Miami Bike Hunt, Guy Fieri
By Jordan Melnick | February 24th, 2011 | 3 CommentsOn this week’s podcast, we kick things off with a major gripe fest about Miami’s depraved fascination with its Real Housewives, discuss the March 5 Miami Bike Hunt we’re organizing with Emerge Miami (RSVP on Facebook or Meetup), and give the rundown on a busy weekend of events (Bruise Cruise Kick-Off Party, Critical Mass, Tour De Tacos bike ride, Heat-Knicks). We also burn Guy Fieri, the bleached-blond figurehead of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, in a 500-degree oven.

What is depraved about watching or enjoying the House Wives? You are probably a closet fan yourself.
This deserves more of a response than I have time to give right now, but, in brief, a bunch of spoiled, talentless, shallow bitches spewing their vulgar personalities onto a national audience — with the insidious assistance of a multimillion dollar network — fits snugly within the definition of depraved.

A Closet Fan
I’m with Dan, I think you guys should just do a housewives podcast. It’s a pretty funny show because of all the adjectives you used to describe those women. There’s nothing more Miami than the housewives of Miami.
