Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings at the Fillmore

Touring on their fourth album, I Learned The Hard Way, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings brought the soul revival to the Fillmore Miami Beach Sunday night. The turnout was pretty low — stubs as high as $68 probably kept a lot of fans away — but that didn’t stop Jones and co. from doing Sweet Philly right.     So far, one of the best shows in 2011. No gimmicks, no laptops, no haircuts…..just raw energy and sweat. The Dap-Kings are all accuracy & precision. Worth every penny of the ticket price if not more.
