Photos from Wynwood Art Fair

Envisioned as a live art “happening” cum street fair, the inaugural Wynwood Art Fair is well under way. We stopped by early on Friday, when the crowd was thin and a few booths were still setting up, to see what was going on. One of the first uneveryday sights was Argentinean, Miami-based artist Agustina Woodgate painting hopscotch squares near the northern boundary of the fair. Her intention is to keep painting until she reaches the other end of the fair, several long blocks to the south, or until her back breaks in two. Either way, it will take her all weekend.
