So I discovered late Monday night that the deadline to submit a short to the Borscht Film Festival Selects Program was yesterday (Tuesday) at 11:59:59. Naturally, my first thought was, “We should conceive of, shoot, edit, and submit a film before the deadline.” It was a tall order but something we really wanted to pull off. With South Beach as our backdrop and its residents and visitors our gracious actors, we made it happen.*
Now, this is no glossy Hollywood production (though we did write a little skin into the picture — mine, unfortunately). But even with the shakes and blurs and at times sub-par sound quality, we think the flick came together pretty well. We hope you agree.
Without further ado … “In Search of Waldo Pepper”.
